2026 Grad Recognized for Designing Wildcat Production Studio Logo

2026 graduate Harrison Zeller was recognized during the July 10 Board of Education meeting for designing the official logo for the Shoreham-Wading River High School Wildcat Production Studio.
Earlier this year, the high school invited students to submit logo designs for the building’s multimedia studio. Harrison's design was selected as the official logo, representing a space that supports creativity, communication and student learning.
The Wildcat Production Studio serves as a hub for a variety of multimedia opportunities at the high school. It is the home base for the school's news broadcast program and provides students with a professional space to record podcasts, create digital media projects and produce music recordings.
"When I was designing the logo, I really wanted to take into account what the main idea of the studio was and what it would mainly be used for – the news production," Harrison said. "So, I really wanted to go with the TV motif for the logo. We have the Wildcat paw, which is standard across a lot of elements of school branding, so it was important to include that. The speech bubble serves as an important symbol of communication."
Harrison created the original design using Adobe Illustrator through the school’s media club before making final revisions using the platform Inkscape.
This fall, Harrison will attend Quinnipiac University, where he plans to major in game design with a concentration in digital art and animation.
