Students at Wading River School recently learned from members of the Riverhead Police Department during a special visit. Third graders enjoyed an exciting K-9 demonstration, where officers showcased the skills and training of their police dogs while explaining the important role K-9 units play in law enforcement.

In addition, students in grades 3-5 participated in informative presentations focused on drone technology and internet safety. Officers shared insights into how drones are used in public safety and provided valuable tips to help students stay safe and responsible while using the internet.
