Sixth Grade Treble Choir Receives Superior Rating

The Shoreham-Wading River music department is proud to celebrate the achievements of its student musicians who performed at the Long Island Music Festival on May 29 and earned a Superior rating, the festival’s highest distinction.
The students demonstrated exceptional musicianship, preparation and professionalism during their performance, impressing festival adjudicators with their musical expression and ensemble performance. Their accomplishment reflects months of dedication, teamwork and commitment to excellence.
In addition to their performance, students had the opportunity to work with distinguished clinicians and receive valuable feedback designed to further develop their musical skills and artistry.
“This recognition is a testament to the students’ hard work and passion for music,” said Choral Director John Samonte. “We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school community both on and off the stage.”
The Shoreham-Wading River music program continues to provide students with opportunities to grow as performers, collaborators and confident young leaders through meaningful musical experiences. Congratulations to all of the student performers on this outstanding achievement!
