Miller Avenue students focused on the Winter Olympics during their physical education classes. The students learned about this special event a watched a video clip that identified the sports events. 
    During the school’s ice hockey unit, the students practiced their newly learned skills like Olympic athletes and played a game, Team USA vs. Kids Choice. They also watched clips of the men’s and woman’s USA ice hockey team events and were encouraged to watch the Olympics at home.
