Prodell Middle School Library Poised to Promote Pure Love of Reading

The Prodell Middle School library opened its doors this fall with an incredible array of new offerings designed to ignite student passion for reading, including captivating, fractured fairytales, dynamic novels in verse, and expanded independent reading choices that cater to every student's unique interests.
This year's ambitious literacy initiatives feature the highly anticipated BIG Read of Todd Hasak-Lowy's powerful novel "33 Minutes," the beloved return of First Page Friday sessions, and the exciting implementation of Beanstack technology to strengthen our Prodell Middle School reading community while helping students build impressive reading streaks. To mark this special opening, all classes experienced the moving story of resilience through Sean Rubin's "This Very Tree: A Story of 9/11, Resilience and Hope," setting the tone for a year filled with meaningful literary connections.
With these innovative programs and diverse book selections, the Prodell Middle School Library is poised to make the 2025-26 school year an unforgettable journey of discovery, growth, and the pure joy of reading.
