Principal's Message

Welcome to Miller Avenue Elementary School! 

Miller Avenue houses approximately 400 kindergarten through second grade students.  The focus of instruction is on providing developmentally appropriate, rigorous instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students. Teachers use a variety of innovative instructional practices to provide students with engaging instruction.  Students at Miller Avenue participate in rich learning experiences from reading and writing to social studies, science and mathematics, in addition to art, music and physical education instruction.   Our school motto is “The Future Begins Here.”  Our belief is that this is the first stop on our student’s educational journey and is only the beginning of creating a lifelong love of learning.
