The Miller Avenue School first grade teacher team kept the educational aspect in mind when they came up with the idea for their Halloween costumes! The teachers – Cara Behrens, Carly Bossung, Susan Byrnes, Jennifer Ernst, Ralph Jimenez, Ronnie Malave, Alison Quenzer and Laura Sager – each dressed as characters from Numberblocks, a thoroughly educational series that helps young students understand what numbers mean. The teachers served as helpful visual representations as their costumes were made of unit blocks.
