Yes, that is a real seahorse that Wading River School students found while seining on the Great South Bay! One group of students spotted dolphins swimming by in the Atlantic Ocean (the dolphins also had some fun creating bubble circles and picking up a quick lunch).

“Thank you to the teachers, young scientists and many parents and family members who joined in to create this unique learning experience,” Principal Lou Parrinello said.
