The educators and staff at Miller Avenue School designated Oct. 2 “Ronnie Malave Day,” in honor of first grade teacher and Shoreham-Wading River Teachers Association Vice President Ronnie Malave, who will retire this year. The teachers celebrated Mrs. Malave by emulating her distinct style.
