The Shoreham-Wading River School District congratulates 12 high school students for their many hours of rehearsals and a final concert as part of the Long Island String Festival from Jan. 6-8. The Suffolk County Secondary Festival was held at Smithtown High School.

The students – Maxwell Boerum, Ray Hidaka, Yiya Hu, James Minetti, Alicia Minty, Anja Minty, Caroline Panasci, Damian Perez, Lucas Portuese, Katelyn Schaefer, Kathryn Winters and Dongkai Zhang – work under the direction of Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra Director Mrs. Ashley O’Connor.
