The Shoreham-Wading River Central School District will once again showcase its exceptional music program. The district is pleased to announce that three Shoreham-Wading River High School students – Madison McQuade, Anja Minty and Robert Tacke – have been selected to perform in the New York State School Music Association’s All-State performing ensembles.

Their selections stem from evaluation scores and comments from the spring 2022 NYSSMA assessment, along with detailed teacher recommendations. Madison and Robert were selected for the mixed chorus and Anja for the symphony orchestra.

“We are thrilled to have three students selected,” music teacher Mr. Dennis Creighton said.

This year’s All-State Festival will take place in Rochester, New York, in early December. The district congratulates these students on this exceptional achievement.
