The Shoreham-Wading River Central School
District Board of Education has approved a five-year strategic plan at
its June 25 meeting. The strategic plan will commence in the 2019-20
academic year and will serve as a blueprint for the future. The plan
will support the five goals: Maintain Whole Child Programming,
Communication with all Stakeholders, Enhanced Student Graduation
Outcomes, Maintain High Quality Programming and Healthy, Safe and
Engaging Learning Spaces.
“With much enthusiasm, we look forward
to putting this plan into place as our guide to a successful educational
future for all Shoreham-Wading River students,” Superintendent of
Schools Gerard Poole said. “The District greatly appreciates the
participation of the entire community across the past year in the
development of the plan. I would like to commend the Board of Education
for initiating this process and guiding it to a successful completion.”
