Construction projects have always been a great opportunity for Eagle Scouts to do something for their community that will have some permanence. Shoreham-Wading River High School student Gavin Trezza had that thought in mind when he laid plans for his own unique Eagle Scout project.

Gavin designed and constructed music stands with SWR blue and gold colors and a hip-cat donning a derby hat playing the saxophone. He had some help from his fellow scouts in the process.

Gavin then proudly donated them to the school and looks forward to using them with his musical peers in his senior year. The gifts were used them for the first time at the Shoreham-Wading River underclassmen academic awards in June.
