What is red and shiny and helps save lives?

Miller Avenue School students learned this when some special visitors arrived in a big, red fire engine in the school’s parking lot. Volunteer members of the Rocky Point Fire Department stopped in for an exciting morning to recognize Fire Prevention Month. The visit was to help raise fire safety awareness, share prevention tips and demonstrate the life-saving tools, vehicles and equipment used by firefighters.
