As part of Shoreham-Wading River’s School-to-Community Program, Dr. Richard Morgan, Graduate Program Director of Stony Brook University’s School of Social Welfare and Clinical Associate Professor, presented to AP Capstone Research students on statistical analysis methods. In the course, students investigate a single, self-selected research question throughout the year, compose an academic paper, and present and defend their research to a panel. Dr. Morgan presented to the class on univariate analysis vs. bivariate analysis and returned a few days later to conference individually with students on their data collection and interpretation methods.
