Members of the High School’s Best Buddies program held a “Match Party”
to match students who have intellectual or developmental disabilities
with a peer to help become integrated into the school community. Using
riddles such as “this is where you would use your artistic skills,” or
“this is where you are greeted when you are hungry,” students set off in
the school to head to the art room or cafeteria to meet their match.
Commended for their uniqueness and kindness, this year’s Best Buddies
will strengthen their friendships throughout the year.
