Kerri Anderson’s class were among all the Miller Avenue Elementary
School’s kindergarten students who visited the North Shore Public
Library recently. They learned how the library can enhance what they
learn in the classroom, recited nursery rhymes with puppets and learned
how to take care of books that are borrowed. Each child was also
presented with a Dr. Seuss goodie bag that held a nursery rhyme book
they created, and those with library cards checked out a favorite book
to read at home.
