The artistic abilities of WRES students were on display at the recent
“Evening of the Arts.” The festive, colorful event attracted families,
district administrators and community members out to enjoy the annual
celebration of the creative efforts of the students.
The hallways were packed with people admiring the imaginative works of
the third- through fifth-grade creators. The event also featured a
performance by the third-grade orchestra students sharing their musical
talents and an art scavenger hunt for all family members.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the learning and
development process of our students in the arts,” said Principal Louis
Parrinello. “The expressive skills they are learning in our classrooms
will certainly broaden their perspective on the world.”
