Shoreham-Wading River High School senior Ethan Wiederkehr was surprised with a graduation ceremony on June 8 when his classmates gathered in the school’s auditorium to watch him receive his diploma from Principal Dan Holtzman. The surprise was planned after it was learned that Wiederkehr would not be able to attend graduation because he is scheduled to attend Northwestern University’s football camp. Following the short ceremony, a graduation cake was served.
