The Shoreham-Wading River School District held its second successful STEM Symposium on May 16 in the high school gymnasium.

The well-attended event, featured over 40 STEM-related booths and exhibits for students and community members to explore. A number of the booths were run by district educators and featured hands-on STEM activities including slime making, robotics and binary codes. Additionally, more than 10 community organization representatives, including the BNL and St. Charles Hospital were on hand to explain and show to participants how STEM topics relate to the real world.
