Two high school juniors, Liam Clifford and Christian Wesselborg have been selected to participate in the prestigious Long Island Youth Summit on April 7.
The students received the invitation after researching renewable energy options and producing a video that tackled the topic. The video included interviews with professionals at various locations, including the power plant.
“I am proud that our students are being awarded the opportunity to participate in this event,” said teacher Alana Philcox, who mentored the students’ project. “The time and energy they devoted to this project on top of their rigorous schedules is commendable.”
