Using the skills that he learned in his computer graphic arts class, high school freshman Mike Leonard recently won a logo design contest as part of the Shoreham-Wading River School District’s new School-to-Community initiative.

The new logo will be used to help promote the School-to-Community initiative, which aims to connect students and teachers with area businesses. It is hoped that these collaborations will create new opportunities in the fields of science research, a proposed robotics club and mentors for AP Research students.

The Shoreham-Wading River School District extends its congratulations to Mike Leonard for the creation of his winning logo design.
