To inspire middle school students to promote positive change within their schools and community, the school invited representatives from Rachel’s Challenge to speak with students during an assembly on Feb. 28.

Through the powerful assembly, students learned the story of Rachel Joy Scott who was the first person killed in the Columbine High School shooting. They gained insight into the impact she made through acts of kindness and the legacy she left behind.

The assembly culminated in challenging students to show compassion and start a chain reaction of kindness.
