Through a reading incentive initiative, kindergartners in the Miller Avenue School are polishing their reading skills. As part of the program, students are given pointing lasers and super hero capes and are encouraged to use their “super powers” to become “super readers.” To accomplish their reading goals, students use their “pointing powers,” “picture powers” and “partner powers.”
