As part of the voter-approved bond, the district recently completed a project to create ten new, state-of-the-art, 10,000-square-foot classrooms and prep labs at the high school.
These enhanced spaces feature furniture conducive to today’s learning standards, as well as advanced equipment, including lab tables and SMART boards, geared toward evolving STEM programs. The classrooms were completed for the start of the school year and students are enthusiastic about the upcoming lessons they will complete in the spaces.
“Our student’s today are learning at higher levels than ever before and these updated spaces will enable them to continue to explore the field of science in a manner consistent with 21st-century learning standards,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Steven R. Cohen.
