Students Place at DECA Conference

High school students, along with adviser Melissa Cosgrove, traveled to Rochester, N.Y., to participate in the 2014 DECA High School State Career Development Conference. Out of the 16 students competing from the district, 11 won medals and seven placed in the top 10 in the state for their event.

DECA is a national organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in high schools and colleges around the world. It is a competitive business and marketing club for students who are interested in marketing, finance, hospitality, management and entrepreneurship.
