The District has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school grounds, based on the grounds of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty and integrity.

The excitement of the Thanksgiving holiday was hardly containable as Miller Avenue School second grade students marched in the school’s Balloons Over Miller Avenue parade, held on Nov. 25.

Miller Avenue second graders showcased their writing during the Nov. 18 Board of Education meeting, which was held at Miller Avenue School.

Miller Avenue School students honored veterans and active military during the school’s third annual Veterans Day Breakfast.

It was virtually impossible for Wading River students to remain still and in their places as the New York City Police Department Jazz Band performed a packed program of jazz music.
