The High School has been named a 2024-2025 School of Distinction by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association.

Four of the high school’s finest musicians were selected to participate in the New York State School Music Association All-State Winter Conference Honors Ensembles, to be held in Rochester on Dec. 4-7

The community came out in force to celebrate the legacy of beloved girls soccer coach Adrian Gilmore during the district’s inaugural Gilmore Game, held on Sept. 27 against William Floyd High School.

Seniors Paige O’Shaughnessy and Emma Pollak were two of 23 students from eight Legislative Districts who received the Suffolk County Legislature’s Distinguished Youth Award.

A beautiful, warm weekend set the scene for the Shoreham-Wading River community as the district hosted its annual homecoming festivities on Sept. 26.
