We’re excited to introduce you to the CARE Initiative – a new school-based mental health and overall wellness collaboration with Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.

Created in response to the growing healthcare needs of students, the CARE Initiative is designed to promote early intervention with meaningful support before issues escalate.

Through this partnership, you’ll have access to :

• Mental and behavioral health assessment and short-term treatment referrals
• Specialized support for students with complex needs
• Access to a system of healthcare experts at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital 

Each month you’ll also receive the CARE e-newsletter packed with expert advice, practical tips, and timely resources to support your family’s well-being. You will also be invited to a monthly parent workshop where CARE experts will share valuable insights and evidence-based tools you can start using at home right away.
